Trent Pomplun is Associate Professor of Theology at the University of Notre Dame. He is the author of Jesuit on the Roof of the World: Ippolito Desideri’s Mission to Tibet (Oxford, 2010) and a handful of academic articles. His interests include medieval and modern Roman Catholic theology, the history of Catholic missions in Asia, and Indo-Tibetan religion and culture.
